Please keep praying about court date

Still no word on the court date. Viktor will be talking with the judge tomorrow. Turns out the court will be open half day on Thursday. There is still hope for a Thursday court date. Anya said its a really small chance but "anything is possible". Please pray that our court date would be scheduled before they close for the long weekend and that Ted and the girls would be able to go home on Saturday.

Anya told us some things Valera said in the car today while they drove to the orphanage:
1. He wonders how Pa got to be so good at ice skating (for those of you who don't know- he grew up ice skating and playing hockey). He wants to ice skate more.
2. He is really excited to come to America to play on a real soccer team.
3. He has some scars on his legs and he asked Anya: "when do you think I will get hair on my legs so that my scars will be covered?"

So cute.

I am including a picture that Valera took of us during an UNO game and one of me being crazy. He loves to use the iPad and iPod and iPhone to take pictures. He commands: "say cheese"!

Good night from Ukraine. Please pray for us and our court date.

  1. I'm praying for your court date and trusting God in His sovereignty! You look wonderfully joyful , Lisa! Tonight I plan to crawl on my knees to my "Pa" and demonstrate to Him, with a small gesture, of how grateful I am to
Him for His loving kindness to me. I can already see him smiling! (love, love, love yesterday's story! It gave me such a great picture of reciprocal love between Us and our Father)
