Our apartment

Just thought you might like to see where we are living. The inside is better than the outside. We don't have hot water as The city of Donetsk has shut it off for a period of time. We do have a washing machine that fits about ten items. No dryer...but we have this rack. We are all so very appreciative of what we have back home.

I got another good night sleep. Praise God!

Last night we walked to get ice cream. The weather here is very nice and we are thankful for that.

Have a great day! We love you all!

  1. Hello Lisa ! I have loved your posts and look forward to how God is providing for all of you! For example how a few days ago you prayed for Him to show that He is with you. . He not only answered your prayer with sleep and the presence of two kind women, but on Sunday He spoke to you theough the pastor preaching and focusing on Josh 1:9. He is simply amazing and so kind to us! Your blog has clearly shown GodS goodness, mercy, kindness and love! Take care and enjoy the experience! Marybeth

  2. We love all the posts! We look forward to reading them everyday. The kids have enjoyed following along as well. We noticed that Valera has a huge smile in all the pictures - I am sure he is smiling on the inside too. Thank you for bringing Valera into all of our lives! We love you all!

  3. Lisa I love this last picture of you on the couch with Valera there on the floor near you. I can nearly hear you talking and smiling at your kids now. I bet Valera's face just beams when he listens to your voice whether he knows a word or not. You have a way of melting hearts and I imagine you are the very person he's always dreamed of when he imagines who he would one day call 'Mom'.
